I`ve got this 2001 - A Space Odyssey (Two-Disc Special Edition) as birthday gift and was thrilled. As we know, the movie is fantastic. And the bonus material on the DVD is great as well. Photos from Kubrik`s LOOK Magazine period as a photographer, a `66 interview, the making of and much more. This one you should buy.

Eu ganhei esse DVD do 2001 - A Space Odyssey (Two-Disc Special Edition) (amazon/buscapé) de aniversário e fiquei louco. Eu sou fascinado por extras e esse DVD duplo está recheado deles. Tem fotos da época em que Kubrik era um fotógrafo da Revista Look, uma entrevista sobre 2001 de 1966 em áudio apenas, o making of e muito mais. Esse merece ser comprado.

Well, this one I bought a while ago. I didnt find it on Amazon but since I bought it in Brazil, this makes sense. I just bought it because it was cheap, it reads Divx files and it had a USB port. So I reduced the DVD RW burning and started to be a little more eco-friendly and using just a USB drive.

Esse DVD da Philips eu comprei aqui no Brasil mesmo e o motivo de ter comprado era porque ele era barato e tinha uma porta USB qu lê Divx. Por isso parei de queimar DVD RW para assistir filmes e séries e comecei a jogar tudo em um pen drive de 4GB (ih! tenho que colocar essa compra aqui) e pronto.

James Bond Ultimate Collector's Set

Well, this .James Bond Ultimate Collector’s Set I didn`t buy but a good friend of mine gave it to me so, it fits on this blog. But What can I say about it? Just the classics. Mine actually has 19 movies but it is “must-have”.

Bem, essa caixa do 007 eu ganhei de um amigo mas mesmo assim é válido colocar no blog. A minha caixa não é exatamente essa, tem “apenas” 19 discos. Mas, definitivamente, é um clássico. Você pode comprar na Amazon ou procurar no Buscapé e ver o melhor preço.

Mamba Booq Bag

Booq Mamba Pack Backpack (Black) for 13-17

Since I read about the Booq bags in the Josh Spear blog I wanted one. On his post, he actually mention another model and not the Booq Mamba Pack Backpack but I fell in love with this one and bought mine. Which is blue and a little bit bigger than I anticipated but is is a great backpack. Both Macbook and the Macbook pro (15″and 17″) fits on this beauty.

Desde que eu li no blog do Josh Spear sobre as mochilas da Booq eu fiquei com vontade de quebrar. No post dele a mochila é outra mas eu gostei mais dessa Booq Mamba Pack Backpack e acabei comprando uma azul. Ela é um pouco maior do que eu esperava mas é uma excelente mochila. Cabe meu Macbook numa boa e ainda cabe Macbook Pro de 15 e 17 polegadas.

I bought this one with last post`s Motion book. But this Apple Pro Training Series: Aperture 2 (Apple Pro Training) I really used. Not all the content but some of it. Really good tutorials, tips and tricks about the software.

Eu comprei esse junto com o livro do Motion do post anterior. Mas esse Apple Pro Training Series: Aperture 2 (Apple Pro Training) eu usei mesmo. Tem ótimos tutoriais e dicas sobre o software. Vale a pena.

I bought this one(Apple Pro Training Series: Motion 3) a while ago. I love motion graphics and the Apple Motion software is very different from Adobe`s After Effects. Unfortunately I didn`t have the time to study the software and use the info in this book yet.

Eu comprei esse livro(Apple Pro Training Series: Motion 3) há um tempo. Eu adoro motion graphics e o Motion da Apple é bem diferente do After Effects da Adobe. Infelizmente, eu não tive tempo de estudar o software ou usar as informações do livro.

Today I bought 10 HP`s blank DVDs(HP - 10 x DVD+R - 4.7 GB 4x). I had no more media and some backup was needed. The image above is not the product I bought but it helps anyway…

Comprei 10 DVDs da HP (HP - 10 x DVD+R - 4.7 GB 4x)) para fazer uns backups. A imagem não é bem essa mas acho que para ilustrar, está valendo.

Unsual weekend. Two movies with kind of the same vibe. Different themes but definetly the same vibe. One of them was on the previous post and the other one is Then She Found Me. Helen Hunt, Bette Midler, Matthew Broderick and Colin Firth. I guess I`m a little soft this days. Good movie though.

Henry Poole Is Here

Just watched Henry Poole Is Here. Nice movie. Sometimes it is a little slow but it have some good songs in its soundtrack: Blur, Ben Harper and others.

Acabei de assistir Henry Poole Is Here. Filme legalzinho. Um pouco lento algumas vezes mas é bem filmado e a trilha sonora tem algumas músicas boas. Tem Blur, Ben Harper e outros. A cena que toca “Morning Yearning” do Ben Haper é fantástica.
